On Monday, June 9, 2025 Daniel presented on two complementary topics at the New England State Police Information Network (NESPIN). The audience included members of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies from across New England. The morning presentation was entitled "The History and Use of Hate Symbols, an Overview for Investigators and Patrol," provided a comprehensive look at a range of common, as well as less well known, symbols and language used by a range of violent extremist movements. One of the main points emphasized in the training was that it is not uncommon for individuals, who may have few real-world ties to fellow believers, to use these symbols to lend legitimacy or fulfill a psychological need prior to, during, and after committing acts of ideologically-motivated violence.

In the afternoon he presented on the "Artificial Intelligence and Terrorism, Implications for Public Safety" which looked at the various ways in which terrorists and other bad actors can put readily-available AI algorithms and AI-enabled devices to develop and execute more lethal attacks.
